BRISTOL HARBOUR FESTIVAL 2024
If you’re looking for a fun-filled day for the whole family, Bristol Harbour Festival has it all! I attended this years’ festival to help build up my photography portfolio as I knew there would be so much going on to capture over the weekend - there was entertainment everywhere you looked, definitely not to be missed!
HARBOURSIDE
Along the harbour, you (of course) had the spectacular steam boats and loads of other water-based events, but the main event I wanted to capture was James Prestwood showcasing his incredible skills flyboarding, which amazed everyone with him backflipping up to 60 feet in the air! Take a look at some snapshots below:

FOOD
Whilst walking around you can’t help but smell all the delicious street food vendors! There was asian, mexican, classic burger and chips along with some sweet-toothed delights to take your pick from. Even though it was super busy on the Saturday I attended, you can turn up to a restaurant/bar without needing to book and there was tables free to have a sit down and people-watch whilst resting your feet.
TRAVELLING
You can get to Bristol Harbour Festival from practically anywhere by train or driving down, although parking right by the harbour can be a pain if you’re not there early. So I ended up parking at Cabot Circus and walked down to the harbour, which worked out really well and only took about 15 minutes to get there.
If you’d like to take a look at a short round-up of this year’s festival, there is a video below you can watch of what I have captured and links to my socials if you’d like to keep updated with my photography ventures :)
